We want to get good exam results

Here are the pictures pupils at Primet and Pendle created to show how important good exam results are to them. You can use the pictures in your own prezi's or other documents. To do this right click on the image you want, there are pictures with backgrounds called jpg's or see through backgrounds called png's. Choose Save Image as from the menu. Save the image to a place on your computer where you can find it. Now you can go to insert files in the programme you are using and put the picture in.

WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU

Are you a parent or young person aged 10 - 14? Know what you want but need pointing in the right direction? Want support with parenting and encouraging your child's education? WE CAN HELP!

Inspiring Communities is a project aimed at broadening the horizons and aspirations of young people and their parents within 3 wards of Pendle - Vivary Bridge, Waterside and Bradley.

The project also aims to tackle absenteeism and to raise educational achievement and attainment at school. To do this we will: Provide outreach support to parents, encourage young people to listen to the experiences of our inspirational role models, visit universities with families involved with the programme, make links with local businesses, get young people involved in more activities after school, provide opportunities for training and learning, seek employment support for parents and much much more!

OUR FUTURE'S OUT THERE!

Our Outreach Work

WHY THE TEAM ARE HERE

Pendle Bourough Council were successful in their bid for a new government programme of activities aimed at raising the aspirations of young people aged between 10-14 years and their families in three areas of Pendle - Waterside, Vivary Bridge and Bradley wards. The project is supported by the local Neighbourhood Partnership, a sub group of Pendle's Children's Trust, who meet regularly to ensure the smooth running and development of the project.
