Yesterday we visited the university of central lancashire.The university has many buildings. We visited the library and took part in a quiz, discovered the student union (this has chill out areas, cafe, book shop, stationary shop and a hub). We found out that in the HUB students can look for jobs, join clubs and societies, get advice and find out about voluntary work. We saw the the buildings where students live for the first year (Halls of Residence) and ate lunch in one of the many refectories, students can buy cheap main meals whilst they are studying at the university.
The main focus of the visit was to look at forensic Science. there are 2 houses where lecturers set up crime scenes and Forensic students go in to gather evidence! We took part in a Forensic workshop and did our own fingerprints! Have a look at the photos ....
