Young Mill Workers Come to Life!

Recording the Inspiring Communities Ode
They have recorded this piece of work in the recording studio at the ACE Centre.
Well done everyone :-)
I.C.Media Week starts with Radio Station Tour!
A live broadcast was taking place whilst we visited the studios. We went into the music library and the TV studio where broadcasts are filmed to be included in shows such as North West Tonight - an amazing insight into the various Media/ Journalism jobs that are available in Radio.
It was a great experience!

Thursday 24th February 2011 - Heritage Mills Project, experience life as a young person in the 1800s
We will be looking at life as a young person in the 1800s, researching jobs they had to do and looking at the impact it had on education. Also, we will be acting out the scenes of life working in an industrial mill - this will be filmed and you can help edit the final version! - Here you have the opportunity to compare what was available for young people then, to what you can do as a young person now.
Please let Jen or Warren know if you would like to attend any of the above activities.
